Students from the "Neue Mittelschule Schönegg" (secondary school) visited NAO to get an impression about the robot's capabilities and how he can interact with people.

Marco Schweitzer received the 3rd price for the Best Student Paper Award at the NI2016 conference in Geneva for his work on Robotic Assistance in Medication Management: Development and Evaluation of a Prototype. The eHealth research & inovation unit congratulates Marco for his success.

Our member Lukas Huber participated in the Assocation of Computing Machineries (ACM) 31st Symposium on Applied Computing in Pisa, Italy. He presented a poster as part of the Student Research Competition on his project Medical Topic Modeling - A web tool.

STOA Workshop

Alexander Hörbst was invited by scientific committee of STOA (Science and Technology Options Assessment) from the European parliament to the workshop “Challenges for the deployment of eHealth in routine care in the EU” and the discussion of the topic “Priorities for eHealth in the EU and the role of EU policy”. The STOA committee of the European parliament addresses important technological and scientific future challenges and assesses the effects on the European society and economy.
